A broadcaster gathers and analyzes information, writes reports and announces findings on radio and television. Broadcasters must possess and excellent speaking voice and writing skills and those appearing on television are required to meet strict standards of physical appearance. Especially a broadcaster on radio there are some steps for you, if you want to be good broadcaster.
1. Sometimes a broadcaster has a little time for preparation before going on the air; whereabouts you should check your voice. Your voice must be well and then listener can hear your voice clearly, so what everything you tell, word by word, they can understand what you say.
2. Speaks focus. It means, you must still focus with a topic you give then. Sometimes you can insert some other topics, but you should to consistent with a primary topic.
3. Give some jokes, which make an enjoying situation, because sometimes listener feels boring.
4. Be a creative and spontaneous speaker. I believe anybody like that.
5. Be interesting people. Maybe you should have a special character which one that make image while anyone only hear you they know if that voice is your mine!
6. Be interactive with your listener. This is one of the important things that make your listener feel comfort with you.
7. Be you. Don’t try and be someone you are not. Just be yourself, okay!
